Shipping policy

General Overview
All products at The Canberra Times Store are produced on demand. This means that once you place an order, we produce it specifically for you. This approach is more sustainable as it eliminates overproduction and waste.

Production Times
Because each item is custom-made, please allow 1–4 business days for your order to be printed and packaged before it is shipped. During peak holiday seasons, production times may be slightly longer.

Local Production and Shipping
We utilize a global network of over 170 printing partners. Our system automatically routes your order to the production facility closest to your delivery address. This ensures faster delivery and a reduced carbon footprint.

Estimated Shipping Times
Once your order has been produced and handed over to the carrier, estimated delivery times are as follows:

Domestic (Australia): 3–7 business days
International: 7–21 business days

Please note that these are estimates provided by our carriers. Actual delivery times may vary based on your specific location and local postal services.

Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your destination. We work with multiple carriers to ensure the most reliable and cost-effective delivery for your specific region.

Tracking Your Order
As soon as your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number. Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking information to update once the label has been created.

Customs and Import Duties
While we aim to produce orders locally to avoid customs fees, international orders may occasionally be subject to import duties and taxes once a shipment reaches your country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. The Canberra Times Store has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Incorrect Addresses
We are not responsible for orders that are undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to the production facility because of an address error, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the order.
